Hello World!
My mom & dad are tired, but doing really well. It is already clear that my mom is an amazing woman for doing so well during such a long labor. She started having contractions on Friday night around 4:00 p.m. which means she was in labor for 40 hours. She took me to the hospital around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, and her cervix was already 4 centimeters dilated.
As good as my mom was during labor, I have a few questions about my dad. His stomach got queasy a couple of times during labor. He was also crying a lot. I'll whip into shape one of these days. Luckily, mom & dad's good friend Jody was there during the entire labor to settle them down.
My mom has already started breastfeeding me, and I like it! She is a great mom.
I can't wait to meet my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends real soon!
