Play All Night
Wow! My mom & dad keep telling me I am so adorable! I really like my new home and especially the animals in the nursery. Family and friends of our family have been SO nice to us! We have received many, many warm wishes and even some wonderful clothes and such. Mommy & Daddy keep saying how blessed they are.
I am a little mixed up about this day-and-night thing. I like to sleep during the day and then cry at night so my mommy & daddy know I want to play and eat. Mommy is taking lots of naps with me, and Daddy can't seem to stop organizing my stuff and charting my breastfeeding, poops, and pee-pees in an Excel spreadsheet on the computer. I hope he loosens up a bit when I get older. ;-)
I played a good trick on Mommy & Daddy around 2:00 today. I had taken a 3-hour nap, so they decided to change my diaper, and all was going fine, or so they thought. What they didn't know was that I had been saving up from mommy's breast milk. So, the moment they took off my diaper, I let them have it. First, I sprayed with a solid stream from my "fire hose." Unfortunately, I sprayed some on my clothes, but I got my blanket and a little on the carpet as well. Score! Then, as they were running around saying, "PAPER TOWELS, PAPER TOWELS," I let them have it from my backside. My poppy is black and sticky right now so I thought it was funny when I oozed some on the changing pad and on blanket # 2. (They seem to be using lots of blankets on me)
They got me back though. Next, they decided it was time to change the gauze on my area that was circumcised yesterday. I wish they had a little more practice, but after some struggle, all was well again.
