Dance All Night, Sleep All Day
I am 325 hours old now. How many hours old are you?
Mom & Dad have been a little too busy and loud in the past 3 or 4 days. I have been nice to them and slept most of the night, but I was getting annoyed with their constant daily noise. So I put a stop to it. For the last two nights, I have been awake and crying much of the night. It is working too! My parents seem to be slowing down because of lack of rest the last couple of days which is much better for me. I haven't decided how I am going to handle tonight; I'll let you know.
It has been a fairly quiet couple of days. However, I did get visitors. Namely my Great Aunt Linda & Great Uncle Roger. They had some practice at holding babies and did a great job.
I freaked my parents out a little this morning. I had "eye boogers." (That's what my dad called them) Really, my tear ducts are clogged so I have this yellow discharge throughout the day. Mom & Dad just wipe it off ever so often with a wet cotton ball. It bothers my parents much more than it bothers me. It just gives me ANOTHER excuse to keep my eyes shut during the day. (Which I like)
I saved the best story for last. Of course, it involves bodily fluids. :-) I've added another weapon to my arsenal of tricks involving diapers. Instead of my dad running around in circles, this one makes him sigh with disdain in his voice, "Ooooh man, you've got to be kidding me." Here's what I do. . . I wait until they are finished with my diaper and have snapped the hundreds of snaps it takes to get my outfit on, then. . . RIIIIIP! I poop again! So they have to do the whole routine all over again. I've tried this trick 2 or 3 times in the past couple of days, and it has worked perfectly every time. I don't know what a cork is, but my dad keeps threatening to use it. We'll see.
