Adam's Third Month
I shared my two monthday with GG's 90th birthday. She says she's ready for another ten! I sure hope she's still around when I'm ten.
She came over to Indy the day after her bday to help us celebrate Thanksgiving and Noah's two year birthday. Nonna & Grandpa came with her... so did Uncle Pipper (her dog). We had a nice Thanksgiving... except that my stuffed snake tried to eat our turkey. It was a very relaxing holiday. The Schultz & Madden families came over the day after Turkey Day to help us eat leftovers and to hang out. That was fun & relaxing too.
That Saturday we celebrated Noah's second bday. Grammy & Grandpa came from Evansville as well as Great Aunts Carol & Kitty and Great-Grandma Schenk. The Winter family, Annie & Sarah, and Marilyn also came to the party. It was a Sesame Street theme. Noah got all sorts of fun presents. I hope I get to play with them when I get older. Lots of people smiled at me and wanted to hold me. I had a good time.
We went to the new Indiana State Museum with our playgroup. They had a fun holiday land with Santa & a train that kids could ride. Noah got on the train, but when it was time to ride, he decided not to do it. He had fun looking at the electric trains though & coloring a Christmas picture. I sure hope they still have that train when I am old enough to ride!
I am cooing and smiling a lot. I have started watching the Baby Einstein videos with my brother. I really like the music & the moving lights. My favorite thing at which to smile is my Elmo mirror in the car. I don't really like my car seat at all. I cry when Mommy puts me in... BUT when I get in the car... I start smiling and laughing out loud at that funny Elmo mirror that they've put up to keep an eye on me.
I am WAY easier on my parents when they have to change my diapers than my brother Noah was. I do not use them for target practice. However, some days, when I figure Mommy just doesn't have enough to do, I like to find the one opening in my diaper and aim for it. This gets everything wet, they have to change my clothes, and Mommy has to do MORE laundry!
We bought our Christmas tree & I love looking at the lights. It's a small tree... but that's just my size :) There is a train that runs underneath. Noah loves to play with it. Sometimes Mommy lays me on the floor where I can watch it go round and round. I am working on tracking things with my eyes, so this helps!
I keep hearing LOTS of good things about Uncle Bryan, Uncle JJ & Aunt Sara. They are coming to visit for Christmas & I am quite excited!
