Our Trip to Washington
Well, I'm finally back from my trip to the great state of Washington. I had a GREAT time! I spent some quality family time with...
Uncle J.J.
Uncle Bryan
Aunt Katie
Aunt Sara
Nonna
Grandpa
Of course, Mom, Dad, & Noah were there too. We visited Uncle Bryan's house in Pullman for four days, then we went to Uncle J.J. and Aunt Sara's in Spokane for four days. Some of the fun activities we did include:
Visited parks where we...
played on fun playgrounds and fed the ducks
splashed in a kiddie pool
rode fun rides at Riverfront Park, the site of the 1974 World's Fair
swam in a big lake and hiked at Coeur d'Alene
saw beautiful flowers at Manito Park
Went bowling
Everyone but me ate LOTS of ice cream at Ferdinand's and other places (especially Grandpa and Daddy)
Daddy, Grandpa, Uncle J.J., Uncle Bryan, and Aunt Katie played golf
Some of the grown ups tasted wine at Camas Winery
Saw where Uncle J.J. and Uncle Bryan work and go to school at WSU
Ate lots of good food including some yummy restaurants
I also rode on a airplane again which was fun most of the time. We briefly stopped in Denver, so our travel time was about five hours each way (although at times it seemed MUCH longer.... especially when I couldn't get myself to sleep on the airplane so I started to cry and then SCREAM... Mommy thought that lasted for DAYS!).
Noah had a great time at Riverfront Park. He started out with a carousel ride with Uncle Bryan. Then he rode a Ferris wheel with Aunt Katie & Grandpa. He also rode the rocket, a roller coaster & the Tilt-A-Whirl. Then he finished up with a ride on the Octopus with Uncle JJ. Poor Mommy & Daddy got a little queasy just WATCHING Noah on the Tilt-A-Whirl! (Both have not so fond memories of tossing their cookies after riding similar rides in their glory days!) We are SO lucky to have such great relatives to give us different experiences.
We had such a wonderful visit!!
Bye for now,
Adam
