I can CRAWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, it happened at the end of last month, but I had already written my news... and I am really perfecting it all this month... so its more appropriate here anyways. I am all over the place. I am so happy! Now I can play with what I want. Mommy kept giving me all those BABY toys... when all I really want to play with are Noah's cars. I have so much fun pushing them around & today I was even playing with his police station and making the cars go down the ramp.
Next is walking. I am cruising whenever I get the chance. I love to hold someone's finger & walk wherever I can go. I SOOOOO want to be a BIG kid. I'm tired of always sitting on the sidelines in my stroller or Mommy's lap. I want to DO IT! Speaking of which... Noah's new favorite phrase is "Me do it!" He's wants to do everything by himself these days. (He is also particularly fond of "NOW!" and "Why?")
Noah had a fun time during swimming lessons. All he wanted to do during lessons was SWIM. He was really good at moving his arms & kicking his feet. Some say he takes after his Mommy. Occasionally he was brave enough to put his face in the water or blow bubbles. He loved to reach for the plastic eggs his teacher had as well. I got to spend some quality time with Aunt Jody & Uncle Fred while Noah, Mommy, Alex & Delaney were swimming.
We went to Nonna & Grandpa's for July 4th weekend. Grandpa & Ed bought some fireworks for us to watch. They were fun. Brandon came over & we went to Steak & Shake. I even got to eat some of the grilled cheese this time. As a matter of fact, I have pretty much given up on baby food entirely. Mommy & Daddy sometimes try to give it to me, but they usually end up giving up in frustration because I am VERY good at avoiding the spoon! Unfortunately, the weekend was cut a little short because GG had a mini-stroke while we were at Tim Horton's on Sunday, and she had to go to the hospital. She is better now.
We put up our play set & Daddy worked really hard to get it all ready. He added some stuff like safety handles and benches to sit on. He also built a really nice swing set that attaches on. It's GREAT. Noah LOVES it. I really enjoy swinging on it, and occasionally Daddy will bring me up the ladder so I can crawl around & go through the tunnel, too. Then I REALLY think I am BIG stuff!! Mommy bought me a little play thing so I can stand in it & watch everyone play. Sometimes it keeps me busy for awhile. My favorite is when Olivia comes over from next door & holds & plays with me. They are moving soon, though.
We went down to Evansville for Great-Grandma Schenk's 80th birthday party. I was having such a good time that I refused to take my afternoon nap! It was fun to see my cousins and the rest of the relatives.
Then, our cousin Ashley came and visited us for a week. She really liked to play with me. We had a great week. We went to the zoo & Children's Museum. We also went swimming & just hung around here and played. It was a busy week!
