This month started out sort of slow..... but ended up with a bang!
We didn't have much planned for the first part of the month, but it was fun to slow down & enjoy the beautiful fall weather that we were having. I enjoyed helping Daddy rake the leaves & pick them up to put them in the bags. I like riding around in the wagon that I got for my birthday too.
I am definitely enjoying walking... and getting better & better each day. I don't fall down quite as much anymore. Mommy likes to joke that I am giving more meaning to the word "toddler" as I used to fall down more times than she could count (in about 5 minutes time).
I finally got my very FIRST tooth this month!! It broke through around the week of the 15th. The second one is fast coming in as well. It hurt a little, but as long as Mommy gave me a little Tylenol, I was OK.
I am also understanding A LOT more of what Mommy & Daddy are saying. I can point to my nose, dance on command, and follow a few other directions. I am a GREAT dancer, by the way!!! I like to turn around in circles to the music & sway side to side. I also know 3 sign language words... they are hot, drink, & more. (I am working a bit on more.)
The highlight of the month was the trip to Nonna & Grandpa's for Thanksgiving. We celebrated 4 birthdays in 6 days!!!! 3 of them were right in a row! Aunt Katie flew in from LA on Tuesday & celebrated her 25th birthday on Wednesday. GG "turned" 100 on Thursday as we celebrated Thanksgiving too. (She is really 91 this year, but could not be talked out of the idea that she KNEW she was turning 100.... we even had a hard time convincing her to wait until Thursday to celebrate!) On Friday it was Daddy's turn. He was 35. We also took this chance to let Noah have his 3rd birthday with Mommy's family on Saturday. He got to go to Steak & Shake and have his OWN shake (which he was nice enough to share with Nonna & Grandpa). THEN he came home & HAD to light candles on a cake as well.
We were lucky to have Mommy's Uncle Paul, Aunt Laura & cousin Alyssa drive over from New Jersey to share in the celebrations & Thanksgiving as well. Noah & I really liked playing with Alyssa. She is 7 and lots of fun.
Noah is learning how to spell his name. He also sometimes knows how to spell zoo. He thinks it is funny to call Mommy & Daddy by their names Meggan & Tom. He likes to tell everyone his name is Noah Schenk & my name is Adam. He is proud of me.
Bye for now,
Adam
