October 2004 Article
This was a fun month! We went to two different pumpkin patches. The first time we went to the Country Market with some friends from playgroup. We played with some of the props they had for kids, took a hayride & then decorated some pumpkins. We got attacked by bees as we ate our lunch, but Mommy's favorite part was the yummy kettle corn we ate on the ride home. We also went to Stuckey's farm with Travis, Macy (friends from playgroup) & their mommy during the week. We rode the tractor and watched apples on a conveyor belt. We also played on the wooden play set they had & then went out to lunch. Both pumpkin patches were fun!
We got to spend the weekend with Nonna & Grandpa -- without Mommy & Daddy! They went up to Cleveland for Mommy's friend Keco's wedding. We had LOTS of fun with Nonna & Grandpa -- especially since Mommy wasn't around to say NO all the time. Spoil city! :)
The event of the month, though, was that I learned to WALK!!! I am BIG STUFF now........ if only my pants didn't stop getting in my way. Mommy has to roll them up all the time. My legs are long enough, but my belly is not big enough to hold 'em up. I think Noah might have stretched them out a bit! Anyways, I love to be able to get around the way the big kids do. I am MUCH happier these days.
Noah & I were lions for Halloween. We had a fun Halloween party for playgroup where we dressed up. Then, we also did a little trick-or-treating at a few houses in the neighborhood on Halloween night. It was fun, but Mommy & Daddy kept saying the candy wasn't for me! Luckily, someone was nice enough to give us fruit gummies that I was allowed to eat.
We have had beautiful weather this fall (when its not making up for the summer by raining) and so I got to help Daddy with his outside work last weekend. I had lots of fun picking up a leaf and putting it into the bag. I was LOTS of help.
Bye for now,
Adam
