Hello all!
Will you be my Valentine?! I had LOTS of love come my way this month. I smile all the time now... especially for my daddy. I even started laughing - I like pat-a-cake best & Mommy knows a ticklish spot under my neck that will make me giggle. I also laugh at my mobile in my bed a bunch. I am a happy girl!
We spent the first part of the month finding a preschool for Noah for the fall... but I slept through most of that! Adam was also sick the first part of the month, but he is better now.
I got to go on a date with Mommy & Daddy for Valentine's Day. We went to the Atlanta Bread Company. I didn't want Mommy or Daddy to get TOO used to this date thing... so I pooped in my diaper knowing that Mommy had left the diaper bag with the boys at Jody's & didn't bring one for me. They had to come home early. Hey! I waited until they were ALMOST done with their meal :) Daddy's office ladies thought this was SOO funny... they bought Daddy an emergency diaper kit to keep in the van for the future. Curses! Foiled again!
We had a couple of playdates - one with Kacy & one with Skylar. We also hosted playgroup at our house this month & went to a different playgroup at our church. We attended two birthday parties - one for Noah's friend & Delaney's.
Nonna, Grandpa & Aunt Katie came to visit (and Aunt Katie came to stay with us again for awhile). We went to the Children's Museum with them & saw the dinosaurs and a special Magic School Bus exhibit. We had lots of fun.
Towards the end of the month, Noah had to have ear surgery to get his old tubes out & new ones in. He was unable to hear most of what people were saying. We kept having to repeat stuff. Turns out his tubes were blocked (his ear drum was even growing inside the tubes!) & fluid was building up. They fixed all that though & we are waiting for the follow up visit to see if his hearing has really improved (even though I've noticed people aren't repeating as much).
I am starting to be able to pull my head up in my bouncy. I am strengthening my muscles for things to come!
Noah is still enjoying his maze books & dot-to-dot, but he has also moved on to writing notes to Aunt Katie or cutting out hearts for people. Adam is enjoying helping Noah with this or coloring in his coloring books. They spend a lot of time at the kitchen table!
More to come,
Tori
