Top o' the morning to you! May the luck of the Irish be with you!
We had a fun month this time. We started out the month by going to a Mom's Morning Retreat with Mommy. I was very good at the childcare there & Noah had lots of fun doing crafts and all! Adam had to stay home sick with Aunt Katie & Daddy (who stayed home sick from work). The next day we left for Evansville to celebrate Isabelle's third birthday. It had a Wizard of Oz theme. Aunt Amy & Uncle Tom decorated the upstairs to look like the Emerald City. It was cool.
The next weekend we got to see Grammy again because she came up to go to a child care conference with Aunt Nina & Rachel. Ashley spent the day with us. I had a nice time with her & finally gave her some smiles towards the end of her visit. Nonna & Grandpa also came & we celebrated Grandpa's 60th birthday with a Mickey Mouse cake. Aunt Katie also planned a surprise birthday breakfast at "My Favorite Muffin" on Sunday. That was a great weekend.... except we had to say goodbye to Aunt Katie as she went home with N&G. (She found out the next day that she was going to Guatemala for the Peace Corps in May!!! Read more about Guatemala.)
Noah has spent the month learning to read. He is doing such a good job. He also likes to write, color, or work in his pencil books. He is quite the academic! He is also doing so well with his speech that he "graduated" from his speech class. He was sad to say goodbye to Miss Linde though. Adam is learning lots too... he can count to 10 in English AND Spanish! He is also working on his alphabet. He likes to sing songs & is learning all his prayers. I have two smart brothers!
Mommy & Daddy celebrated 7 years of marriage at the end of the month. Wahoo! Only 70 more to go :)
I FINALLY got to go to Daddy's work & meet all his work buddies... even though Mommy has decided that I like to stay home best of all. That is when I'm happiest. Anyways, everyone was really nice at Daddy's work & they had lots of smiles for me.
At my 4 month check up I was 15 lbs & 25 inches. But unfortunately, Adam & I have been sick most of the month. Adam has to have breathing treatments because of some wheezing in his lungs & now I am on an antibiotic. I have been congested ALL month... especially at night. This makes it VERY hard to breathe... and very hard to sleep. Yuck. Hopefully we will both get better soon... especially with this nice weather we've been having lately.
I am looking forward to this thing called "Easter" because I get to see all my fun relatives again & they say there's something about eggs.... can't wait to see what it is!
More to come,
Tori
