Theodore came to America in 1844. He was a tailor by trade and worked in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Later he turned to farming for health reasons. He bought 60 acres of land from his father-in-law and began with practically nothing.
He was the second son of Gaudens.
He and Franceska resided in Robinson Township.
He left his farm to Ferdinand, his son, when he died.
*Their daughter Anna was professed as a Sister of Providence at St. Mary's of the Woods with the name of Sister Ludwina. Son, Anthony was a priest ordained in 1873. He died in Brookville, IN at the age of 59. His car had broken down while on a sick call, and he walked home in the snow. He died of pneumonia.
**Mary was baptized at St. Wendel Catholic Church on December 13, 1846.
