Thomas John Schenk, Sr.

Tom attended St. Anthony's grade school for 1-7 and then went to St. Mary's for 8th grade.  He went to Rex Mundi High School from 1964-1968.  All of those are in Evansville.  During HS he worked as a service station attendant for Jenkins Standard and Eddie's Marathon.

He's lived in Evansville all his life.  He remembers going to Burdette Park for picnics with uncles and cousins and having family softball games.  The adults were fun to watch when he was little.  He went on a family vacation to St. Louis and watched a baseball game, saw the zoo & other attractions.  He enjoyed playing a variation of baseball called "Overline" with his brothers and sisters.

His hobbies are working on cars and fixing things that are broken.  He also used to drag race cars and won several trophies.

His favorite foods are fried chicken, meat loaf, mashed potatoes & baked beans.  His favorite books are Reader's Digest and any "How to Do" books.  The movies he likes are The Graduate, Easy Rider, Dirty Dancing, Titanic & Close Encounters of the Third Kind.  His favorite songs are Last Kiss, Rodeo, Mony Mony, or any 60s song.
